Info

MPL, a French group formerly known as Ma Pauvre Lucette, moves forward like a collective narrative: five young men, five voices, and songwriting that places emotions at the center. Between pop and chanson, with arrangements that give the words room to breathe, they weave melodies that linger and vivid lyrics that speak plainly of friendship, love and identity. Their songs unsettle assigned roles, question what the times expect of them, and open up ways of speaking about the present differently.

On stage, MPL plays tightly, shares the vocal spotlight and draws the audience into a spontaneous chorus. Over the course of their tours, the band has honed a warm, human-scale live show that blends signature tracks with new material. A new chapter arrives with the release of their upcoming album, which they celebrate with a set conceived for the occasion.

See them on 13 March 2026 at the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne, as part of the Festival Les Chants de Mars, for a concert celebrating the release of their new album.
