The Aristocrats

The Aristocrats bring together Guthrie Govan (guitar), Bryan Beller (bass) and Marco Minnemann (drums). Formed in 2011, the trio made its mark with a self-titled debut album and went on to tour extensively, developing an instrumental rock that leans toward fusion and progressive rock with jazz detours. Their writing plays with form: massive riffs, shifting meters, clear themes and spaces open to improvisation. The sound is dense yet readable, the interplay constant, and each piece moves from one idea to the next with the well‑honed logic of a tight group.

All three have earned their stripes alongside Steven Wilson, Joe Satriani, Hans Zimmer and Steve Hackett, and bring to the stage this mastery of collective playing. After a stop in Paris in 2023, The Aristocrats return to La Cigale in Paris on June 1, 2026. On the bill is a journey through their repertoire and new pieces, combining rock energy, fusion surges and a taut, driving groove.

An instrumental trio, they rely on interaction, dynamics and situational humour to create music that moves forward in the present, together as three, with supple precision and a sense of contrast that gives their concerts their distinctive flavour.
