Mammoth

Mammoth is the project led by Wolfgang Van Halen, an American multi-instrumentalist and son of Eddie Van Halen. He forges his own path with a style that blends alternative rock, heavy power and a keen sense of melody. After spending many years touring with Van Halen as their bassist, Wolfgang launched his personal project and established an immediately recognizable sonic identity. Under the name Mammoth WVH, and later simply Mammoth, he released "Distance", a tribute to his father that marked the start of an adventure acclaimed by the international rock audience. His self-titled debut album features tracks like "Don't Back Down" and "Epiphany", entirely played and produced by him — proof of rare artistic control. With the second album, Mammoth II, denser and more assertive, Wolfgang continues down a path where massive riffs, anthemic choruses and increasingly solid songwriting intersect. On stage, he surrounds himself with a dedicated band to give his compositions their full power. Between embraced heritage and a personal vision, Mammoth establishes itself as one of the most ambitious rock projects of its generation.
