Patrick Holland

Producer and electronic musician based in Montreal, Patrick Holland rose to prominence in the mid-2010s on the North American house scene under the alias Project Pablo, characterized by a warm aesthetic blending melodic house, moderate tempos and Balearic influences. With the albums I Want to Believe (2015) and Hope You’re Well (2017), Holland honed a sound that moves between intimate dance music, lo-fi textures and repetitive constructions suitable for both clubs and home listening. Active as a DJ and live performer, he circulates through independent venues, festivals and alternative label networks, connected to the scenes in Montreal and cities such as Vancouver and New York. In the late 2010s, the gradual retirement of the Project Pablo moniker opened a new phase under his own name, more focused on songwriting and the incorporation of vocals, guitars and pop-oriented structures. The album You’re The Boss (2022) marks this evolution by combining his house heritage, gentle synth-pop and more organic arrangements, while retaining Holland’s taste for detailed atmospheres and understated grooves.
