Frozen Soul

Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Frozen Soul occupies the contemporary death metal scene with a slow, heavy and glacial approach rooted in 1990s death metal aesthetics. Formed in the late 2010s, the band gained attention with a demo and the EP "Encased in Ice" in 2019, before releasing their debut album "Crypt of Ice" in 2021 on Century Media Records, which established Frozen Soul around massive riffs, mid‑tempo grooves and a cold, repetitive atmosphere. In 2023, Frozen Soul expanded this framework with "Glacial Domination", an album that deepens the focus on rhythmic dynamics and frozen ambiences while remaining anchored in a classic death metal sound. The five‑piece primarily plays metal stages across the US and Europe, in clubs and at festivals, sharing them with a new generation of extreme bands. Frozen Soul's lyrics revolve around cold, isolation and survival imagery, shaping a coherent visual and sonic identity centered on controlled brutality rather than speed.
