TOMORA
Project launched in 2025 on a European scale, TOMORA brings together Tom Rowlands, member of the Chemical Brothers, and the Norwegian singer AURORA in a duo focused on melodic electronic music that crosses trip hop, techno and atmospheric pop. Their collaboration forms part of a working relationship begun several years earlier, Rowlands having contributed to some of AURORA’s tracks, while the singer had already appeared in the Chemical Brothers’ universe. TOMORA first emerges discreetly, with tracks tucked into DJ sets before the name begins circulating on posters at European festivals. The duo then formalizes its existence with the single Ring the Alarm in 2025, followed by The Thing, and then several tracks such as Come Closer, Somewhere Else and I Drink the Light. This initial phase leads to the album Come Closer, released in 2026. In TOMORA, AURORA’s wide and mobile voice sits atop Tom Rowlands’ productions, which are more direct than contemplative, made of clear pulsations, dark textures and progressive build-ups, in a format designed as much for listening as for live performance. TOMORA then began its first concerts and announced the EP Celebration, planned for 2026.
