HENGE

Formed in Manchester in 2015, HENGE develops a crossing between psychedelic rock, space rock, electro and avant-pop that the group designates as 'cosmic dross'. Behind this sci‑fi aesthetic and these stage characters lies a British quartet whose music blends synth lines, a very prominent bass, motorik drums and guitars with acidic accents, in a format that navigates between song, repetitive trance and experimental drift. HENGE first circulated its universe with the Cosmic Dross EP in 2017, before releasing the album Attention Earth! in 2018, then ExoKosm in 2020, Alpha Test 4 in 2023 and Journey to Voltus B in 2025. The band built itself in the circuit of alternative festivals and independent venues in the United Kingdom and Europe, with a regular live presence that accompanies the evolution of its repertoire. The members of HENGE, who appear under the names Zpor, Goo, Sol and Nom, also extend this imaginary in visual and narrative projects, notably through a series of comics started from 2019.
