Hollow Ship

Hollow Ship is a Gothenburg band that has emerged as one of the defining voices of the contemporary Swedish psych scene. Their music navigates between the British psychedelic legacy, afro-rock grooves and improvisational impulses drawn from jazz, creating immersive, shifting compositions marked by a keen sense of texture. Often compared to acts like Dungen or Goat, the quartet has, since the release of Future Remains in 2020, developed a universe where instrumental density coexists with a pronounced visual focus. Their EP Animated Music Vinyl, released in 2024, extends this immersive approach, notably nourished by their stage collaborations with artist Freddy Wallin.
