Catz 'n Dogz

Formed in Szczecin, Poland, Catz ’n Dogz brings together two producers and DJs who initially performed as 3 Channels before adopting their current name in the late 2000s. Catz ’n Dogz work within house and techno, characterized by flexible rhythmic patterns, prominent basslines and occasional borrowings from disco, deep house and more organic textures, all within a club-oriented aesthetic that remains open and mobile. The duo emerged on the European electronic scene through releases on labels tied to contemporary house and techno circuits, then developed their own platform with Pets Recordings, a structure that has supported their artistic evolution and placement within an international club and festival circuit. Their discography notably includes Stars of Zoo (2011), Basic Colour Theory (2015) and Friendship (2018), three albums that trace a shift from a frontline house approach toward more melodic and collaborative formats. Through DJ sets, original productions and remixes, Catz ’n Dogz have built a lasting trajectory at the crossroads of Polish dance music and European electronic scenes.
