Dino Lenny

Hailing from the Italian electronic scene, Dino Lenny has built a career since the 1990s that spans club house, electro, trance and electronic pop with New Wave references. A DJ, singer, producer and head of the Frenetica label, Dino Lenny has played in numerous European clubs such as Space, Amnesia, Goa, The Egg and Ministry of Sound, before expanding his work to remixes and collaborations with INXS, Planet Funk, Underworld, The Housemartins and Scissor Sisters. In 1999 he appeared in the Atlantis ITA project with Michele Guidi on the track "In The Next Life", a reworking of "So Get Up" included on the soundtrack of the film Sorted. From the mid-2000s Lenny increasingly brought his voice to the fore in tracks where pop songwriting meets dancefloor codes. The single "Feels Like Home", released in 2007 with Meck and produced with Simon Duffy, marked this shift and later formed the basis for the mashup "Feels Like a Prayer" used by Madonna during the Sticky & Sweet tour. Across productions, remixes and vocal projects, Dino Lenny maintains a consistent taste for direct formats, electronic textures and a restrained vocal approach, often on the boundary between song and club.
