Âme

Formed in Karlsruhe, Germany in the early 2000s, the duo brings together producers and DJs Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann with a personal approach to house and techno. Initially noticed for a series of deep-house and melodic techno maxi singles on the Berlin label Sonar Kollektiv, the project became firmly established with the creation of Innervisions, a label founded with Dixon that became the main outlet for their releases. The track "Rej" (2005) marked a turning point in their trajectory, featuring a minimal, hypnotic style informed by Detroit techno, Chicago house, soul and jazz. Their discography later expanded to include EPs and remixes for various artists, as well as the album "Dream House", released in 2017 on Innervisions. On stage, Kristian Beyer focuses mainly on DJing, while Frank Wiedemann develops live performances and studio production, anchoring the duo both in club culture and in a more deliberate compositional practice.
