Info
On June 30, 2027, Angine de Poitrine lands at O2 Academy Brixton in London with its wordless, tightly built instrumentals. The Quebec duo (Klek and Khn de Poitrine) plays music that sits somewhere between experimental rock, math rock and angular post-punk, with a mechanical sense of repetition that can feel close to certain strains of techno.
Their tracks are put together through small motifs that pile up, then get stripped back, creating that constant push-and-pull that keeps the set moving. Expect matte, precise drumming, microtonal guitar and bass lines, and chromatic phrases that slip tension into asymmetric structures. No vocals, no narrative to follow: just rhythm, displacement and variation, built for people who like their rock physical and their patterns sharp. With Vol. 1 as a starting point, this Brixton date is a chance to catch a young project already confident in how it twists repetition into something that hits and shifts in real time.
