Fontaines D.C. return to France with a stop at the Zénith Nantes Métropole in Saint-Herblain on June 7, 2027. After a European tour played to sold-out crowds, the Dublin-based post-punk outfit brings its nervy, literate sound back to the stage, propelled by Grian Chatten's voice and a guitar interplay that alternates raw tension with more ethereal openings. This concert also promises to be an opportunity to dive into Dopamine Chamber, their fifth album released on XL Recordings and produced by James Ford. The band stretches its format here: longer, more expansive tracks, atmospheric and sometimes hypnotic, without relinquishing the tight rhythm that marks them. Between rock urgency, broader textures, and razor-sharp writing, Fontaines D.C. continues to widen its playing field, and this Nantes date promises a dense set, tailored for large venues.
