Christophe Maé
Born in 1975 in Carpentras, Christophe Martichon, known as Christophe Maé, is a French musician. His father, a music enthusiast, encouraged him from an early age to learn various instruments, and it was ultimately on the guitar that Christophe Maé began composing his songs. He started by playing small concerts in the south of France before joining the cast of the musical Le Roi Soleil in 2005. There he met many artists from the French scene and two years later released his first solo album, 'Mon paradis'. Known for the hit 'On s'attache', Christophe Maé embarked on a long tour across France, giving colourful concerts, from which the live album 'Comme à la maison' was drawn. In 2010 he returned to the studio and recorded 'On trace la route'. In a short time Christophe Maé became the French musical phenomenon who, according to the press, was the highest-earning francophone singer in 2010. With all that experience and the path he had forged, Christophe Maé returned in 2013 with the album 'Je veux du bonheur', an album praised by the press, with which the musician undertook a long series of concerts.
