Elder lands at Trinity Centre in Bristol on February 23, 2027 with a set built for people who like heavy rock that keeps moving. Twenty years in, the band still avoids getting stuck in one lane, folding crushing riffs, melodic turns, progressive structures and hazy atmospheres into long, gripping pieces. After years of sharpening that balance, they’re now in a phase where the songs feel more direct without losing the hypnotic detail that rewards repeat listens.
Temple Fang joins the night with their jam-forward heavy psych, where tracks stretch out, riffs loop into trance, and the band lets dynamics do the talking. Expect slow builds, locked-in grooves and sudden surges, the kind of live flow that’s as much about collective momentum as it is about songs.
REZN rounds out the bill with Chicago-bred psychedelic doom that mixes weight and space: thick stoner-metal riffs, extended atmospheric passages, and their signature sax and keyboard textures.
