Temple Fang

Formed in Amsterdam in the late 2010s, Temple Fang operates at the intersection of psychedelic rock, heavy psych, space rock and krautrock influences, with a clear taste for long tracks and evolving structures. The quartet first honed its identity on stage, in extended shows that leave ample room for improvisation, gradual buildups and collective playing. Temple Fang quickly became part of the European circuits for psych rock, stoner and amplified music, where their approach blends repetitive riffs, dialoguing guitars, a dense rhythm section and vocals often used as an additional texture. This live dimension has strongly accompanied their recorded emergence, notably with the album Fang Temple released in 2021. Since then Temple Fang has continued to focus on duration, trance and shifts of intensity, in an aesthetic that links the psychedelic legacy of the 1970s, the electric tension of contemporary rock and a jam-oriented logic without tipping into mere instrumental showmanship.
