Marmozets

Marmozets bring an intimate in-store performance and signing to Rough Trade Nottingham on 26 May 2026, marking the release of their new album CO.WAR.DICE. A chance to catch the band up close, the set anchors a new chapter for the five-piece, back on the road with fresh material.

Formed in 2007 in Bingley, West Yorkshire, Marmozets forged a tight, high-energy sound that leans into math rock, post-hardcore and alternative rock. Angular riffs, sharp tempo shifts and direct hooks have defined their writing from the early EPs through their first two albums, The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets (2014) and Knowing What You Know Now (2018). Years of touring and major festival slots shaped that balance between abrasion and melody, before a pause that led to a reset in the mid-2020s.

CO.WAR.DICE. extends that trademark tension-and-release, sharpening the contrasts without losing the bite. This in-store puts the focus on the new record in a raw, immediate setting, followed by a signing with the band.
