Beast In Black land at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on 26 October 2026 with their punchy take on power metal, where sharp riffs, 80s pop sheen and synth lines sear through hook-led choruses. Founded in Helsinki by guitarist-composer Anton Kabanen, the group unites singer Yannis Papadopoulos, guitarist Kasperi Heikkinen, bassist Máté Molnár and drummer Atte Palokangas. On stage they mêlées rapid tempos, twin-guitar leads and bright keyboards with a visual universe drawn from manga and sci‑fi. The set pulls across their three albums — Berserker, From Hell with Love and Dark Connection — balancing driving rhythms with neon-tinged melodies.
Alongside them, Sonata Arctica bring the Finnish school of melodic power metal honed since the late 90s. Led by Tony Kakko’s clear, narrative vocals, the band pairs speed and melody with prominent keyboards and clean guitar work, then opens into more progressive turns heard across records from Ecliptica to Clear Cold Beyond. Live, they shift from urgent passages to more spacious arrangements without losing the melodic thread, laying out a catalogue that traces their evolution while keeping the songs front and center.
