On 28 November 2026 at Thekla, 1000mods bring a heavy rock blend where stoner, psych and desert currents meet. Formed in 2006 in Chiliomodi near Corinth, the Greek quartet has built a dense, straight-ahead sound: thick, cyclical riffs; tempos that shift from forward drive to measured weight; and a melodic voice with a rough grain. Their writing keeps things tight without losing the pull of repetition and the long, steady climbs that light up their tracks. On stage, the focus is collective impact more than flash, a balance of rhythmic tension, gritty melodies and the kind of unvarnished power that links back to 70s hard rock and the rawer side of the underground. The set draws across Super Van Vacation (2011), Vultures (2014) and Youth of Dissent (2020).
Special guests Froglord join the bill, setting the tone before 1000mods unfold their layered grooves and lean choruses at Thekla.
