Yard Act bring their sharp-tongued post-punk to O2 Victoria Warehouse, Stretford, on 13 November 2026. Formed in Leeds, the band has been carving out its place since 2020 with taut rhythms, bass-led grooves and lyrics that play like street-level short stories. Frontman James Smith leans into a spoken-sung delivery, switching between dry humour and clear-eyed observation, while Ryan Needham’s bass locks the pace with a steady, elastic drive.

From their first singles to the debut album The Overload in 2022, the quartet refines a writing style that blends satire, social snapshots and a knack for lean hooks.
