Gauvain Sers

Gauvain Sers marks his return with Boulevard de l’enfance, a fourth album conceived between Paris and the Creuse, at the crossroads of the intimate and the political. After three records released with relentless momentum and long-running tours, he chose to ease off, to take the pulse of real life again — in cafés, on the roads and in the memories that shaped him. Now a father, he shifts his perspective, telling of what we pass on, what connects us, and what sometimes hurts. His new songs explore familiar ground: understated humor, tenderness, social chronicles and portraits of everyday life.

On stage, that direct writing is still present, with melodies serving the words and an attention to detail that can turn a personal story into something collective. Gauvain Sers will be at La Coopérative de Mai in Clermont-Ferrand on February 5, 2027, performing songs that blend childhood memories with the world as it is. It’s a way of returning to his roots, reconnecting with his origins and opening the door onto the byways that feed his choruses.
