MPL

MPL, formerly Ma pauvre Lucette, carves out a distinctive path in French chanson. Five men who sing with emotional intensity, melodies that stay in the head, lyrics threaded with images and landscapes. The group poses simple, necessary questions, upends assigned roles and opens a space where one can speak differently. Their writing, attentive to detail and to vulnerabilities, plays with structures without caricaturing them, while retaining a collective warmth.

After several tours that have forged a loyal following, MPL returns with a new album and a series of dates in France. Before an appearance at the Olympia scheduled for April 2026, they will perform on 5 March 2026 at Le Bikini in Ramonville-Saint-Agne. On stage, the five musicians weave a line between vocal harmonies, quiet ruptures and rawer surges, to tell what moves, what wavers and what holds. An invitation to enter their moving universe, close to the words, the silences and a shared energy.
