Dirty Honey

Formed in Los Angeles in 2017, Dirty Honey sits within a hard rock lineage nourished by blues rock and a revival of classic rock, delivering a direct, riff-driven sound with catchy choruses and a distinctly American rock vibe from the 1970s and 1980s. The band brings together Marc LaBelle on vocals, John Notto on guitar, Justin Smolian on bass, and, since 2023, Jaydon Bean on drums, following the departure of Corey Coverstone. Dirty Honey quickly emerged with the self-titled EP released in 2019, propelled by 'When I’m Gone' and 'Rolling 7s', as the group began touring major rock venues and opening for Slash, The Who, Alter Bridge, Guns N’ Roses, and later The Black Crowes. Their debut album, Dirty Honey, arrived in 2021, extending this aesthetic of melodic hard rock, bluesy groove and guitars with classic rock overtones. In 2022 Dirty Honey co-headlined the Young Guns tour with Mammoth WVH and expanded its presence in Europe, before releasing its second album, Can't Find the Brakes, in 2023, in a tighter, more nerve-driven continuity. Dirty Honey has thus built itself through the live scene—clubs, festivals and international tours—staying true to an organic rock identity, without a heavy nostalgia detour.
