Crobot

Born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, Crobot formed in 2011 around singer Brandon Yeagley and guitarist Chris Bishop as a four-piece whose rhythm section has changed over the years. The band crafts American hard rock infused with stoner rock, electric blues and a strong sense of groove, featuring heavy riffs, driving tempos and often gritty vocals. After the self-produced EP The Legend of the Spaceborne Killer (2012), Crobot signed with Wind-up and released the Crobot EP (2014), followed by the albums Something Supernatural (2014) and Welcome to Fat City (2016). The band then established itself on the rock and metal circuits, touring with the likes of Clutch, The Sword, Anthrax, Black Label Society and Motörhead and appearing at festivals such as SXSW and Rock on the Range. Later on Mascot Records, Crobot recorded Motherbrain (2019) with Corey Lowery producing, then issued the Rat Child EP (2021), featuring guests including Howard Jones and Frank Bello, and the album Feel This (2022). In 2024 Crobot added Obsidian to a discography that blends hard-rock energy, psychedelic touches and a stoner pulse.
