Bob Vylan

Based in London, Bob Vylan formed in 2017 around Bobby Vylan (vocals and guitar) and Bobbie Vylan (drums) as a duo blending punk rap, grime, hardcore punk and spoken word. They emerged in the late 2010s with a series of tracks and EPs that already revealed a direct, socially rooted writing voice, addressing class critique, racism, police violence and everyday urban life. Bob Vylan’s sound relies on abrasive riffs, tight rhythms, chanted choruses and a delivery that shifts from rap to a punk-like tension without abandoning its front line. This aesthetic developed across We Live Here (2020), Bob Vylan Presents The Price of Life (2022) and Humble As The Sun (2024). From the start, Bob Vylan have moved between punk and alternative stages and broader festivals, presenting a compact live show that extends the duo’s balance of raw energy, social commentary and formats inherited from British hip-hop.
