CARSICK

Formed in Salisbury, in the south of England, CARSICK brings together brothers Joe and Jack Richardson with Jack Hardiman and Tom Armstrong in a quartet that crosses post-punk, British indie rock and electronic touches. Active since 2021, the band develops a taut, direct and nervous writing, driven by short tracks, abrasive choruses and a sense of contrast between punk urgency, spoken word and catchier melodies. CARSICK first drew attention on the British live scene, with appearances at several festivals including Reading & Leeds, Truck and 2000 Trees, as well as dates in the UK and Europe. Their discography has been structured around two EPs, Drunk Hymns (2023) and Tough Luck (2025), showing an evolution toward a denser sound without abandoning a rough, frontal aesthetic. In its songs as in live performance, CARSICK works a form of jagged indie rock, at once sarcastic, urban and readily chaotic, in the line of certain recent English scenes without being completely limited to them.
