Jackson Dean

Born in Odenton, Maryland, and based in Nashville after high school, Jackson Dean develops a rough-grained American country, nourished by Southern rock, folk and a marked taste for expansive tempos and dark choruses. His trajectory takes shape at the end of the 2010s, after an initial online visibility, then through songwriting work in Nashville and opening slots for Kane Brown, Jake Owen or Brothers Osborne. Signed to Big Machine in 2021, Jackson Dean released the same year the EP Jackson Dean, before following with Greenbroke in 2022, an album that lays the foundations of his universe: a deep, gravelly voice, tense country-rock arrangements and writing oriented toward wide open spaces, escape and internal tensions. The track "Don’t Come Lookin’" then broadens his exposure, followed by "Fearless (The Echo)", in a vein still anchored in a contemporary country denser than polished. Jackson Dean continues with On the Back of My Dreams in 2024, then Magnolia Sage in 2026, confirming a career focused on a robust, melodic country, sometimes close to heartland rock, which he mainly carries on stage in the circuit of American country tours.
