Conan Gray

Born in 1998 in Lemon Grove, California, and raised in Texas, Conan Gray first came to prominence as a teenager through a YouTube channel blending vlogs with early home-recorded songs. That intimate creative setting shaped his beginnings in a bedroom pop and indie pop vein, driven by highly narrative songwriting about friendship, breakups, and coming of age. Signed to Republic Records, Gray released the EP "Sunset Season" in 2018, establishing a world that spans melancholic ballads and uptempo tracks. His debut album, "Kid Krow" (2020), deepened this voice- and lyric-centered pop approach, while "Superache" (2022) broadened the palette toward a more orchestrated pop, introducing shades of alternative rock and power ballads. With "Found Heaven" in 2024, Gray leans further into an '80s-inspired synthetic pop without abandoning the autobiographical core of his writing. His ongoing work with producer Dan Nigro underpins this sonic evolution both on record and on stage, across headlining tours and international festivals.
