Info
On July 15, 2026 at LeBreton Flats in Ottawa, Ottawa Bluesfest lines up a mix of pop storytelling, folk intimacy, blues grit and instrumental craft. The evening brings together voices and guitars front and center, with sets that move between confessional writing, timeless hooks and raw groove.
Conan Gray moves from bedroom pop roots to sleek, 80s-tinged synth pop without dropping his diaristic edge. From Sunset Season and Kid Krow to Superache and Found Heaven, his songs orbit friendship, breakups and growing up, carried by clean melodies and a clear vocal presence.
Myles Smith keeps it close to the guitar. Folk-pop with a direct tone, arpeggios and choruses that land, he pushes a songwriting style honed on small stages and online, from the single Solo to his EP You Promised A Lifetime.
Natasha Bedingfield blends pop, R&B and dance textures, voice up front and lyrics about intimacy and self-affirmation. Unwritten, N.B./Pocketful of Sunshine, Strip Me and Roll with Me map a path between radio pop and collaborations, built for live clarity.
Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears tap into electric blues, soul and garage rock. Riffs, punchy rhythms and lean horns frame Lewis’s rough-edged delivery, a sound sharpened across records from Tell ’Em What Your Name Is! to The Difference Between Me & You.
Yasmin Williams explores acoustic fingerstyle with percussive techniques and melodic focus. Unwind and Urban Driftwood sketch ambient folk lines with nods to go-go and West African patterns, performed solo and close to the audience.
Adam Karch completes the lineup.
