Lime Garden

Formed between Guildford and Brighton in 2017, Lime Garden brings together four female musicians who attended BIMM in Brighton and develop an Anglo‑Saxon indie rock with flexible contours, where light post‑punk nervousness meets surf guitars, pop choruses and touches of disco. The quartet first drew attention with a series of singles released from 2020, including Surf N Turf and Fever, before broadening their palette with Sick & Tired, Pulp, Clockwork, Marbles and Bitter — tracks that establish a dry, melodic and often off‑kilter songwriting. Signed to So Young Records, Lime Garden sits within a British scene that blends pop formats and band energy, delivering a precise, danceable (but not overtly club) sound with guitar lines remaining central. They have also circulated the UK festival circuit, appearing at Latitude, Reading and Leeds, Green Man and Standon Calling. In 2024 Lime Garden released their debut album, One More Thing, following the singles Nepotism (Baby), Love Song, I Want to Be You and Mother, confirming a move toward a more structured approach without abandoning their taste for rhythmic contrasts and oblique melodies.
