TTSSFU

Under the name TTSSFU, Tasmin Nicole Stephens runs a solo project from northwest England that sits at the intersection of shoegaze, dream pop and indie rock with lo-fi, slacker edges. Born in 2003 and originally from Wigan in Greater Manchester, later based in Manchester, she first played guitar in the post-punk band Duvet before steering her songwriting toward hazier, more melodic and introspective pieces. After several singles released from 2021, TTSSFU issued the EP The Body in 2022 and the mini-album Me, Jed and Andy in 2024 on Fear of Missing Out Records — a record where diffuse guitar textures, airy vocals and a subtle emotional tension take centre stage. That same year she supported Mannequin Pussy on selected tour dates and subsequently signed with Partisan Records, releasing the single Studio 54 in 2024. In 2025 TTSSFU released the mini-album Blown, continuing a trajectory that blends softened grunge, dreamy pop and alternative rock that is at once direct and vaporous.
