Solardo

Gathered in Manchester around Mark Richards and James Eliot, Solardo emerged in the mid-2010s in the wake of British house, with a sound that sits between tech house, festival-oriented house and techno with restrained contours. The duo developed a signature based on heavy basslines, percussive rhythms and short vocal loops, in an aesthetic designed for both the club and large stages. After a string of releases that quickly circulated through international house circuits, Solardo structured their activity by launching the Sola label in 2016, which became a central axis of their discography and artistic circle. Their career has taken them from Ibiza clubs to electronic festival line-ups across Europe, North America and Asia. Over the years Solardo has collaborated with several artists from the house and electronic scenes, including Marshall Jefferson, Idris Elba and Eli Brown, while maintaining a direct, effective approach focused on rhythmic impact, mix tension and production calibrated for the dancefloor.
