Ferreck Dawn

Based in the Netherlands, Ferreck Dawn has been developing club-focused house since the mid-2000s, where dense, physical percussion meets soulful vocals, direct melodies and an energy inherited from the gabber and hardcore scene he frequented early on as DJ Dusk. By moving the project toward a more open aesthetic—at the intersection of house, tech house and sometimes a techno-like drive—Ferreck Dawn has established himself on the international circuit with productions centered on groove and dancefloor tension. His profile scaled up with “Love Too Deep,” released in 2014 with Redondo, then “In Arms” in 2018 on Defected and “Back Tomorrow” in 2021 with Jem Cooke: three tracks that encapsulate his formula— a solid rhythmic foundation, expressive vocal lines and a contrast between impact and warmth. Present on labels such as Defected, Repopulate Mars and Club Sweat, Ferreck Dawn alternates original tracks, remixes and collaborations with artists from various branches of house. In DJ sets he extends the same approach—vocal house, rhythmic intensity and a deeper selection—both in clubs and at festivals.
