Kettama

Active since the latter half of the 2010s, Kettama is a producer and DJ based in Galway on Ireland’s west coast, aligned with a house scene shaped by rave heritage. The Kettama project focuses on fast, punchy house, infused with breakbeat, trance motifs and nods to UK garage, built for intense club settings. The artist first drew attention with a run of EPs and 12-inches circulated online and later released via independent labels, notably Steel City Dance Discs, while establishing their own platform with G-TOWN Records, linked to the eponymous parties in Galway. Over the years, Kettama has stacked up appearances across European clubs and festival stages, featuring on platforms like Boiler Room and slotting into a network of next-generation house and techno DJs. In the studio, Kettama extends the energy of their sets, weaving vocal loops, 90s house pianos and darker, techno-leaning sonics into a direct, dancefloor-focused aesthetic.
