Robbie Doherty

Hailing from Northern Ireland, Robbie Doherty operates in a house register shaped by late-1990s sounds—positioned between house, progressive house and trance, yet recast in a more contemporary, club-oriented aesthetic. He attracted attention early on with dancefloor-focused productions characterized by crisp grooves, warm basslines and frequent nods to the British and European underground house scenes. The track "It’s My Beat" stands as a milestone in his trajectory and brought him into the orbit of PIV Records, where he also appeared on DJ showcases. Subsequent releases include an EP on Knee Deep In Sound, Hot Since 82’s label, and another on neXup, with the cut "Work It" extending his approach between minimal house, progressive tension and direct energy. Alongside his releases, Robbie Doherty has built a steady international presence, playing dates across Europe, North Africa, South America and Australasia, and appearing at festivals such as Tomorrowland and Parklife. In 2024 he opened a new chapter with the launch of his label Avenu and the release of the single "Flawless".
