Peggy Gou
Born in Incheon, South Korea, Peggy Gou trained in Seoul, London and later Berlin, a city that remains closely tied to her career. A DJ, producer, singer and songwriter, she has developed since the mid-2010s a sound that sits between house, techno and electro, with touches of disco, pop and deep house, balancing club-ready energy and more vocal melodic lines. Her first discographic milestones appeared with the EPs Art of War Part I and Art of War Part II in 2016, followed by Once in 2018, which helped establish her enduring presence on international club and festival stages. Peggy Gou then founded the label Gudu Records, an extension of a universe where club productions, a strong visual aesthetic and tracks in both Korean and English intersect. Over the course of her trajectory she broadened her writing toward more open formats without abandoning a clearly dancefloor-rooted base, as illustrated by the EPs Moment (2019) and I Go (2021) and the album I Hear You (2024).
