Mr. Belt & Wezol

Formed in the Netherlands, Mr. Belt & Wezol are a Dutch producer and DJ duo associated with sample-based house, blending deep house, disco-house and contemporary club music. The project emerged in the early 2010s with dancefloor-oriented releases and extensive remix work that quickly placed them on the European electronic circuit. Mr. Belt & Wezol’s aesthetic relies on straightforward rhythms, vocal or melodic loops drawn from older references, and a taste for contrasts between familiar elements and more contemporary treatments. This approach is evident in both their productions and their sets, designed for club formats as well as large stages. Over the course of their career, Mr. Belt & Wezol have played festivals such as Tomorrowland, Mysteryland and Ultra, while remaining active in more intimate contexts—particularly through their nights at The Cuckoo’s Nest, where the duo favors extended formats and exchanges with other DJs. Their discography is composed mainly of singles and remixes, following a trajectory that treats the track as a live performance tool rather than focusing on the album format.
