LF System

LF System is a Scottish duo of producers and DJs made up of Conor Larkman and Sean Finnigan, both from West Lothian and emerging from the local club scene of the late 2010s. Initially active on digital platforms and Bandcamp with dancefloor-oriented tracks, they first attracted attention within the British house and disco-house circles before reaching a wider audience with the single Afraid to Feel, released in 2022. Their music draws on grooves akin to 1970s–1980s funk and soul, repetitive basslines and reworked vocals that recall both filtered disco traditions and aspects of European house. The duo has developed a direct aesthetic focused on rhythmic efficiency and extended buildups, designed for clubs while remaining accessible outside nighttime contexts. By releasing singles and performing sets in clubs and festivals across the UK and later Europe, LF System has consolidated a recognizable sonic identity at the intersection of disco heritage, contemporary house and electronic pop.
