PAWSA

Based in London, PAWSA emerged in the mid-2010s in a space between house, tech house and minimal techno, producing tracks focused on groove, restrained basslines and a direct dancefloor approach. PAWSA surfaced in 2014 with the EP Pilot on Lost Records and followed with releases on Relief Records and Mood Records, receiving support from artists such as Green Velvet and Nicole Moudaber. In 2015 PAWSA co-founded Solid Grooves with Michael Bibi — both a label and an event series — an important framework for his development as a producer and DJ across London, Ibiza and Berlin. His aesthetic combines clear club effectiveness with older house references, without excess, in formats designed for DJ sets. PAWSA also released Stage Two on Solid Grooves and simultaneously built a regular presence on European stages, with a residency at Sankeys Ibiza in 2015 and at Privilege from 2016. In both his productions and selections, PAWSA favors functional, rhythmic and compact writing, aligned with the contemporary British house scene.
