Faul & Wad

A Paris-based producer and DJ duo, Faul & Wad made their mark on the European house scene in the early 2010s with a melodic, accessible approach that sits between deep house and electronic pop. Formed by Maxime Ledu (Faul) and Camil Meyer (Wad), the project gained attention in 2013 with the single “Changes,” built around a sampled vocal motif that established the duo’s sonic signature—supple basslines, airy pads, and arrangements tailored both to radio and the club. Since then Faul & Wad have released a string of singles and collaborations in a melodic house vein that draws as much on tropical atmospheres as on dancefloor conventions, featuring voice-led tracks and straightforward harmonic progressions. Regularly invited to play clubs and festivals across France and Europe, they have developed a DJ-set format focused on progressive, melodic energy, alternating their own productions with contemporary house selections, and have secured a lasting place in the francophone dance-music landscape.
