Jon Pardi
Born in Dixon, California, Jon Pardi grew up away from the major country music centers before moving to Nashville after high school to pursue a career as a singer-songwriter. He began writing as a teenager and formed his first band early on, emerging on the American country circuit in the early 2010s, first touring with Dierks Bentley and later with Alan Jackson. His music is rooted in neotraditional country, bringing honky-tonk elements, twang guitars and straightforward melodic sensibilities to the fore, balancing upbeat, party-oriented tracks with more classic ballads. After his debut album Write You a Song (2014) he broadened his audience with California Sunrise (2016) and confirmed that direction with Heartache Medication (2019) and Mr. Saturday Night (2022). He also recorded the covers album Rancho Fiesta Sessions (2020) and followed with Honkytonk Hollywood in 2025. Over the years Pardi has appeared on recordings with Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett and Midland, and he plays both headlining and supporting slots on major North American country stages. In 2023 Jon Pardi was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, a notable milestone for an artist closely associated with the more traditional strains of contemporary country.
