La Fouine
Born Laouni Mouhid in 1981 in Trappes, Yvelines, La Fouine is of Moroccan descent. In 2005, he released his debut album, “Bourré au Son,” featuring appearances by Zaho and J-Mi Sissoko. He gradually established himself on the rap scene through his regularly released “Capitale du Crime” mixtapes, on which he collaborated with other artists. Two years later, he put out the album “Aller-Retour,” once again including features with Booba (“Reste en chien”) and Amel Bent (“Tombé pour elle”). In 2009, he released his third album, “Mes Repères,” and played a concert at L’Olympia as part of the promotional tour. The album was a commercial success, selling thousands of copies in France. In 2011, La Fouine returned with the double album “La Fouine Vs Laouni.” In 2013, he was honored at the Trace Urban Music Awards.
