Gazo

Gazo, a central figure of French drill, turned the raw energy of UK rap into a dark, ultra-efficient urban language that redefined the francophone scene. Born in Châteauroux and based in Saint-Denis, he first made his mark independently with a series of freestyles and hypnotic tracks, where his deep voice, clipped delivery and catchy toplines became instantly recognizable. In 2021, his founding project Drill FR acted as a manifesto: a raw, powerful, minimal sound carried by icy productions and unvarnished storytelling that firmly established drill in France. He followed with KMT (2022), certified platinum, before smashing the charts with his hit DIE, confirming his status as a generational artist.
