Leto

Originally from Paris’s 17th arrondissement, Leto first gained recognition as part of the duo PSO Thug, formed with Aero, which emerged on the French trap scene in the mid-2010s. With PSO Thug he released a string of tracks and projects rooted in neighborhood rap, while simultaneously pursuing a solo path where he honed a style combining trap rhythms, melodic hooks and detailed accounts of urban daily life. The mixtapes "Trap$tar" (2018) and "Trap$tar 2" (2019) gradually established him in the Parisian rap landscape, ahead of the album "100 Visages" (2020), which broadened his range between introspective pieces and songs more directly oriented toward the streets. In 2021 Leto released "17%", an album that confirmed his commitment to a trap aesthetic while opening his universe to more melodic formats. Accustomed to collaborations with other francophone rappers such as Ninho and PLK, he alternates between contributions to collective tracks and solo releases, remaining closely tied to the Paris scene while appearing across many francophone rap stages. Leto’s writing relies on direct vocabulary, a frequently dense flow and attention to detail and atmosphere, extending the identity he first established with PSO Thug into his solo work.
