Rim'K
Rim’K, born Abdelkarim Brahmi-Benalla, is a rapper, songwriter, and composer from Vitry-sur-Seine and a foundational figure in French rap. As an iconic member of 113 alongside Mokobé and AP, he left his mark on the 2000s with cult classics such as Tonton du Bled, Au summum, and Les Princes de la ville, blending North African influences, urban sounds, and lyrics rooted in real life. As a solo artist, Rim’K has built an exemplary career, managing to bridge generations without ever losing his authenticity. Projects like Famille nombreuse, Mutant, and Adrenaline cement his status as an architect of French rap, able to reinvent his music while staying true to his roots. With a distinctive flow and a strong sense of storytelling, he tackles universal themes — family, exile, legacy, loyalty — while collaborating with the new wave of rap, including Ninho, SCH, and Leto. A true pillar of the movement, Rim’K embodies the longevity, independence, and wisdom of an artist who has evolved without ever betraying the spirit of the 94.
