Chase Rice
Born in Ormond Beach, Florida in 1985 and raised near Asheville, North Carolina, Chase Rice is part of the contemporary American country scene, blending narrative songwriting, rock accents and radio‑ready choruses. After college football and a stint as a NASCAR pit mechanic, Rice turned to songwriting in Nashville, where he notably co‑wrote for other artists, including Florida Georgia Line's 'Cruise.' His solo career took shape with Dirt Road Communion (2012) and Ignite the Night (2014), which established a style combining radio‑friendly country, electric guitars and imagery of rural parties. With Lambs & Lions (2017) and The Album (2021) he moved toward a more introspective approach, alternating energetic tracks and sparser songs. The 2023 release I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go to Hell continues that trend with a more organic, voice‑centered sound. From club stages to stadium support slots and country festivals, Chase Rice remains associated with a modern country that mixes intimate ballads, mid‑tempo songs and pop‑rock influences.
