George FitzGerald

Born in England and associated with Watford in Hertfordshire, George FitzGerald's work sits at the intersection of house, techno and UK bass, with a marked taste for melodic textures and songs featuring guest vocalists. Before releasing his own music he worked at the London record shop Black Market Records, then moved to Berlin in 2010; from that point his discography took shape through a series of EPs on Hotflush, Aus Music, Man Make Music and Hypercolour, including The Let Down (2010), Don't You (2011), Silhouette and Child (2012). His debut album, Fading Love, was released in 2015 on Double Six and broadened his writing into a more narrative format, between club music, electronic pop and ambient. FitzGerald continued in this direction with All That Must Be in 2018 and Stellar Drifting in 2022 on Domino. Alongside his solo career he developed the OtherLiine project as a duo with Lil Silva, releasing a joint album in 2020, and has also appeared on production collaborations, notably with London Grammar.
