Yotto

Under the name Yotto, Otto Yliperttula has built an electronic career from Helsinki that sits between deep house, house and techno, with tracks favoring slow progressions, atmospheric layers and clear rhythmic lines. Initially active in the Finnish duo Something Good, Yotto launched his solo project in the mid-2010s and quickly joined the Anjunadeep label with Memento / Azzurro in 2015, followed by Wondering the same year and several releases that established his writing, such as Personal Space / Mulholland 99, The Owls, Fire Walk and North. Yotto’s sound moves between club formats and more contemplative pieces, in a dense yet fluid aesthetic centered on melodic tension. He released his debut album Hyperfall in 2018 on Anjunadeep, and in 2019 founded his own label, Odd One Out, which has supported singles like Shifter, Nova and Amaru. A second album, Growth, appeared in 2023. In parallel, Yotto works regularly as a remixer for artists such as Above & Beyond, Coldplay, Röyksopp, Gorillaz and RÜFÜS DU SOL, and also collaborates with Lane 8, Cassian and Stephan Jolk on the international electronic scene.
