Piche

Piche, whose real name is Mike Pierre Gautier, is a French drag queen, dancer and rapper of Romani and Algerian descent, born in Arles and based in Paris. After studying dance and gaining experience at the Conservatoire d'Avignon and the École supérieure de danse de Marseille, Piche entered the drag scene and took part in season 2 of Drag Race France and later Drag Race France All Stars, becoming the first Romani drag queen on the franchise in France. In 2023 she signed with Warner Chappell to launch a career in French queer rap with the single 'Confess', while foregrounding identity, cultural and political themes. Piche is also active in LGBTQ+ and ecofeminist causes, presenting her approach to drag and music as a defiant gesture against established norms.
