Juste Shani
Born in Wissous, Essonne, to a family of Congolese and Senegalese origins, Juste Shani developed her writing early before turning to rap, influenced by a background of American R’n’B. After completing a master’s in marketing, she took a sabbatical year in 2018, attended open mics and released her first freestyles online — the starting point for a project positioned between French rap, melodic hooks and hip‑hop energy. She gained visibility in 2019 with the single “Sélection Féminine,” and continued with tracks where flow, toplines and direct songwriting coexist, such as “Dimelo” (2021), and “Ça tangue” and “Joga Bonito” (2023), the latter extending her engagement with the world of women’s football. Her trajectory also includes several professional development schemes, from Buzz Booster Île‑de‑France to Rappeuses en Liberté, as well as performances on stages like the Olympia as opening act for IAM, Solidays and Lollapalooza via the RADAR tour. In 2023 she joined the FAIR parcours expérience and appeared on Planète Rap with Youssoupha. Her first EP, “Nuits Blanches,” was released in 2024, followed by “Diamant Noir” in 2025 — the year the single “Matrixée” further broadened her profile.
